This year features a stellar cast for our Distinguished Speaker series, including Dr. Harvey Fineberg, President of the Institute of Medicine on “The Power of Knowledge to Influence Policy”; Dr. Sverre Vedal, of the University of Washington speaking about Air Pollution; Dr. Ian Pavord of the Institute for Lung Health, Leicester; Dr. Michael Hayden, Canadian Research Chair in Human Genetics & Molecular Medicine.

The Heart + Lung FEST Scientific Symposium is an Accredited Group Learning Activity eligible for up to 15.0 Section 1 credits as defined by the Maintenance of Certification program of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada. This program has been reviewed and approved by UBC Division of Continuing Professional Development.
