Dr Chanoine is also principal investigator of “Healthy Buddies”, a peer-led curriculum aiming at preventing the development of overweight in elementary school children and of the LiGHT project (Living Green, Healthy and Thrifty), a web-based program that emphasized the beneficial effects of weight management on health, global environment and personal finances (funded by Public Health Agency of Canada).
